Job Description

 

The Research Specialist is responsible for conducting specialized research information for development professionals to enhance the university’s ability to secure private gift support and recruit key volunteer positions. This person will perform analysis and evaluation of financial, statistical and narrative documents.  
The Institutional Advancement office is currently raising funds for the university’s Centennial Campaign, an unprecedented effort to raise substantial new resources for Kent State’s students, faculty and programs. Kent State completed its first major capital campaign in 2003, surpassing a $100-million goal by $22 million.

Job Requirements

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems or Library Science or other relevant field. One to two years experience in prospect research or related field.
